Delicious dumplings, green beans and noodles! The honey walnut shrimp was also fire. We did a pick up order and everything was correct, extra sauces and utensils included. Will be returning :)

I love coming here for the honey walnut shrimp. I usually order pork fried rice and soup dumplings as well. Just know this is a very small space so when it's busy expect a wait. I do wish the waitlist method was a little more organized. We put our name and number on the list but watched other groups that were the same size as us get called ahead even though we were there first. Luckily the host recognized it after we brought it up and sat us down right after.

We decided to try this place out last weekend when we were in the area as they had outdoor seating and I had just spent a day out with my dog. We were super lucky and found street parking right across the restaurant. Staff is attentive and kind. Food came out very quickly and size of food is great to share. We tried the new Salmon fried rice and Salt and Pepper Tofu. Rice was filling and the tofu was seasoned perfectly. They also have delicious chili oil which I would recommend you ask to try if you are a fan of chili oil! We will be back! :)

First stop of my second Sacramento food tour and it's coming in HOT! I would move to Sacramento just to eat at the Hidden Dumpling House weekly and that's not a lie. Absolutely everything was delicious! The Szechuan beef was the best I've ever had, packed with tons of flavor! The coal long bao was steamy, juicy and packed with robust flavor. The spicy won tons were probably my favorite part of the meal. I also got the blended passion fruit with lychee jelly and it was chefs kiss. Loved the aesthetic, the green walls with gold accents were perfectly suitable and made it feel upscale and comfy at the same time. Service was amazing! All the staff are friendly and they move fast to get you, you're food. There will probably be a wait, but it's worth it! Be patient if you come but trust that you won't leave disappointed. AMAZING!

One of our favorites for Chinese food . We enjoy the pepper beef stir fry , eggplant with tofu, xlb dumplings are pretty good, as well as the beef noodle soup . Cute cozy restaurant with outdoor seating available. Friendly and fast service . Two thumbs up !

The hype is worth it. Even though we ended up only getting the beef and onion dumplings, pork and cabbage dumplings, and the sesame chicken combo plate everything was a hit. We got 20 dumplings total (10 between each flavor) and finished them off. The sesame chicken came with half fried rice, half chowmein, and an egg roll. Between 3 people this was plenty. It ended up being around $40 total without the tip. We came for an early dinner on a Tuesday so it was pretty empty, but it looks like majority of people order to go! It's a cute little spot inside with maybe 10 tables or so. I'd love to go back try more of their items! It definitely seems like a great spot to grab take away and eat in the comfort of your own home.

Friends recommended this place. Came here Saturday for dinner around 5pm to avoid long wait. Restaurant is on the smaller side. We ordered 6 dishes to share. I felt like the portions were a bit on the smaller side. Food was pretty average. Nothing really stood out. Spicy wonton was kinda bland. XLB had too strong of peppery taste. Scallion pancake was dense and more like a tortilla. Food came out pretty fast. Restroom was pretty clean. Service was good. Only street parking.
